Scanned is a project that takes place in the library of the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. A raspberry pi camera is placed next to the camera of the book scanner in the library. The trigger is connected to a light sensor and everytime a page of a book is scanned the little camera takes a picture of the book. It is store in an archive. This is available as separate entity from the instituanlised library catalouge. The files can be accessed through an offline network locally and independently.

Over time this will create an autonomous reader, that is based on the scanned data from the book scanner in the library.
