The Soundmirror DX 2001 is a specially developed security device that is based on an established and well-researched security technology. Sound mirrors were first developed after the First World War by the English physicist William Sansome Tucker as an early warning system on the southern coast of England. He built large parabolic concrete shells to listen to the skies for enemy aircraft bombers coming from the European continent to England. The sound mirrors were designed to ensure peace and security in the country.
The Soundmirror DX 2001 is the contemporary version of Tucker’s sound mirrors. It has been further developed as an individually usable security element with the aim of protecting people so that they feel safe in this increasingly dangerous world.
A short promotional video was developed for this unusual safety device. Several clips show different people in different places promoting the Soundmirror DX 2001 and how it has changed their lives for the better.
